Now David has left the website. The club haven't done anything about the pre-season fixtures, new signings or anyhting up to date. Please get someone in to do it on a day 2 day or David please come back.

Very shoddy work. With a new marketing exec type person thingy!! they should by now have an all singing all dancing ex league club pleasing website!! lol

 

The message board remains the current issue update service and thats slow and by word of mouth......

 

What about a chief exec update twice weekly on the website.. just something to keep us going here!!!!!!

An update on any sort would be nice even if it was just to say that something was happening We have signed three players and not a word on website sorry four players this is the usual [****!!****] we can come to expect and then we will have to rely on rumours and word of mouth again.

The lack of info from the club, (even a statement on the messageboard as to their intentions would be nice), will really begin to "hack fans off" before too long - Dave gave the club plenty of notice to get their act together and we get nothing.

 

Everything now seems to go through the press or local radio - the Reporter I can understand to a degree - after all, they gave up their shirt sponsorship mid season for Gladwish, so the odd "exclusive" cant be argued against. But often news just filters out, which is not good.

 

The lack of an up to date website certainly wouldnt impress our opposition next season either - I know thats not the most important issue, but its still an issue.

 

And, in any event, how much longer will the existing site be available? The webspace needs paying for and if no-one does that, our website will presumably disappear altogether.

 

Come on, Mr Chief Exec, and club employees - get your act together and at least give us an indication of your plans.

Well if they want to re-design the website that is the Club's prerogative but at least keep the current one up and running while they do so!

 

The impression it gives to the fans (wrongly or rightly) is the Club doesnt care at a time when we are all expected to renew our Season Tickets!

 

I appreciate the Club may need time to get the new site up and running but a little more feedback in the shape of Press Releases posted on the forum would be well received.

But surely the people behind the scenes at Gravesend have alot mnore important thing to that update a website. If they took more time doing the website then they would not spend as much time as they do trying to get new players. Which so far they have done very well.

Surely getting new players is Andy's job. Clearly updating the website is not on his job descrition, whilst it is definitely within the remit of others behind the scenes.

 

I think the point about keeping us informed is pretty valid.

 

Perhaps when it's all up & running, things will move more quickly & openly. If they do, credit will be given where it's due.

I think it would be very worrying if someone else other than Andy was choosing playes yes he probably takes advice but he is ultimately the man who chooses
