Why no comment on here about EFC's new manager? Could make things interesting as he seems to be talking about making wholesale player changes and bringing in some experience.

Pity - would have liked to have seen Dave McDonald playing for ETFC!!!

I remember Dave mcdonald going in goal for Enfield V Aldershot when Jerome John got Injured and what a performance.Dave Inspired a Brilliant rearguard shutout, Danny Jones scored the only goal following Andy judas pape's fumble. Also remember Darren Webster's constant slagging papey off throughout the 90 mins. Good luck to Dave and I hope it works out.

Harsh to refer to Andy Pape as Judas. Yes he went elsewhere but he gave many years of commitment to EFC and, on his day, was the best keeper I've seen at this level of football.

People ought to rememember Andy for the honours he helped to win for EFC and that he was EFC's highest ever appearencemaker with over 600 appearences. Only Steve King ever came close. Papey's record will never be broken.
Enough said.

Would that be the same Dave McDonald that Jim felt he had signed at the beginning of last season then, only for him not to show?

Let's hope he's upped his commitment this year!

just ignore him everyone...

Feels bitter because he is not popular and supports a team that has never gone anywhere, never will, and has absolutely no life - as shown by the fact that he has to take pictures of his own hand. Presumably bored by his other handy stimulation....

I wont forget Andy as being a great keeper. However he did turn out for barnet in an F A cup tie V Enfield when messers Fry & pearce were the managers and the sickening celebrations when Aldershot done us 1-4 at st albans in which Andy & george Borg should have shown some tact made me lose respect for both.
