There is a thread on the Confguide forum that says we have signed Manny but the club have not confirmed yet. Can anyone with inside information confirm or deny this potentially excellent piece of news?

With Pinnock, Essendoh and Omyinmi we should be a bit more confident than we were this time last year but we still need a fourth striker...could be Drury or maybe we haven't finished nicking Margate players yet?

Excellent news considering ( I assume) he was on a full time contract at Oxford,certainly shows that we are attracting some better quality players, I assume the contract was for a year?

I think we need three more players, one defender, one midfield and one striker, preferably of the poacher variety.

I would have said an older more experienced striker, but look how well Gary Abbot did lol

Ben will probably go to another Conference Club and take a great deal of pleasure in scoring against us.

 

As for experience, Ben has bags of it, Southend, Woking and Maccesfield to name a few.

Totally agree Dave,and hopefully the midfielder will be the kind who has an eye for goal and of course be creative,as I feel we have enough of the ball winning/defending variety.

Well we have Drury, and Sidibe of the former, as well as Jackson who has a real eye for goal, so we are covered in all positions, but yes, another winger couldn't hurt.

DH, if your April fools joke comes back to haunt you (yet again) we will get someone who can play midfield and defence.

I would be surprised if he stayed at Margate and while he may not be popular here at the moment I would sooner have him playing for us than against us.
