Home v Yeovil cant remember what year but they had a pitch invasion when they equalisaed in injury time and then nine minutes into injury time a Warren Pattmore own goal gave us the win,A great second half in a trophy tie at Kidderminster to come from one down, the same at Bromsgrove and the second replay win at Orient when we only had two shots the second a rebound from the first and a stunning rear-guard performance from Pape & the defence,Plus many more.
Also not victories but coming back from two down after seven minutes to draw with two Paul Moran goal at Yeovil in front of an Eight thousand crowd and going two down at Slough and losing A player with a red card and a certain Graham Roberts waving two fingers at us and still coming back to draw with Roberts dis-appearing VERY quickly, also the win after we won the title at Slough.

beating Hitchin Town 1973 at wealdstone to win the London senior Cup.

Howard Moxon's last game as manager and Tony Turley, John Payne, etc played. Great teen memory for me.

1977-78 season - FA Cup Second Round - Northampton 0-2 E's. Then we got bloody Blyth!

Oh, and I also enjoyed seeing Nick Francis score five at Loakes Park - Wycombe b***ards.

A packed Southbury Road watching Enfield beat Port Vale 3-0 in the FA Cup third round. 1984 I think.

The match at Barnsley, FA Cup 4th round 1980-81. They were lucky. We could and should have beaten them there. Still, the replay was something to talk about (should have beaten them again!) Hell of a first season for me.

Oops, looking at Ron's post I got my dates wrong. Was that great cup run really all the way back in 1981?!

What rival may that be? Clapton?

Anyway. What has happened to your new manager and sponsorship deal?

Enfield 3 - 0 Skelmersdale, FA Amateur Cup Final Replay Maine Road Manchester 1967. Goals from Connell, Hill and Adams. This was after that last gasp penalty save by Ian Wolstenholme in the first game at Wembley.

I enjoyed the FA Cup win at Aldershot when they were a league club.

Some great tussles with Wealdstone in the 80's.

That win at Yeovil that was not quite enough..... bitter sweet. Bitter mostly.

So does that mean David Mcdonald is in charge with a healthy budget?

Nice to know what Town will be up against next season (subject to AGM confirmation)

Talking of Telford, it was a shame to hear of their resignation from the Conference today.

As long as it doesn't give the opportunity for the FA to re-open the whole re-structuring debate.

Teletext said that their supporters were intent on forming a team.

Would it be appropriate, considering previous rivalries, to offer advice & assistance?

Wouldn`t AFC wimbledon be better to advise them,we keep being told forming a team was their idea a year after we did it?
