Prices!

Well looks like we'll have to break into 2 tenners to get in next season.

£11 per game - I personally think this is a bit steep for that level of football but if you wanna watch, i suppose you have no choice.

Don't see why they couldn't keep the Price to a nice round tenner though.

well the turnstile operators will certainly need lots of £4 and £9 notes to give out in change...I would imagine £11 is the norm for the Conference and we will certainly need the money given the increased travel expenses which will be incurred (unless the players will be hitch-hiking to Carlisle). Good job we made some money out of the Cup and Trophy this season.

I suppose I qualify for a Student, but what would I need to prove it? I've got a Student ID card to say I'm at South East Essex College but that needs to be re-newed for next year. Would I just bring that along to get a Season Ticket or to any games in which I would have to pay on the day?

You wait until you go to Exeter, it's 12 pounds for away fans and you have to sit, unless you bring a few hundred down and then the away end, standing, will be opened.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Is that all you can manage Johnno? I expected more; lots more. I was expecting sarcasm, irony and even a spot of litotes. Are you ill? Shall I pray for you? Or are you losing it, after all these years of Dr Zbungles mind-numbing drugs?

Please have another go, but this time put some fecking effort into it.

Merv's assessment: Could do better.

I do believe the good doctor is assisting the police in trying to trace Rotten Johnny Shawcraw who escaped from his padded Cell on Sunday. They do believe that he has managed to free himself from the straight jacket because he has managed to rekindle his fetish for embracing computor keyboards.

I suggest we should all prepare some wooden stakes in readiness should he appear in this area!! ++++

If I've understood David Holden's post, seems that £10 was the going rate last season so would expect this to increase to £11 this year.

U16s are a fiver. Wonder if they are accompanied by an adult like last season if that will go down? Was a quid last season. Be good to keep the youngsters coming in being the future and that!

Spoke to a Southend supporter and he said their prices had gone from £15 to £16.50. Whether that's in the cheap or dearer bits of their ground but who would want to watch that lot for that money!

It is kind of you to take such an interest in my health, and the fact is that I have been a bit under weather recently having just recovered from a bout of malaria that I picked up on my last visit to your primative island. My own fault though, the missionary workers did warn me to get all my jabs done first.
