Conference odds

Will Hill have put Canvey at third favourites for the title at 10/1 behind Carlisle and Hereford !! What do you guys think about this? I thought the general price was about 15/1 originally? Anything special happened at CIFC to change that?

stevenage aldershot daggers the fleet should all be shorter odds than us.. n thats the only 4 teams i know anything about.. fking ludicrous.. any chance of some 40 to one for us then i may be tempted to part with some cash for a play off place

Tamworth will start the season with a smaller playing budget than last season & their fans expect the worst..... whilst the Fleet have almost the same players that started and kept on the 'playoff form run' plus some very strong additions to the squad..... yet we are longer odds than Tamworth?????

he has put the seasons wages on canvey to win it.. the players are on one hell of a performance related pay deal

Wonder what would happen if we did win the Conference. Ok I know its not going to happen next year but would we be allowed in the League?

We would have to get that new ground built pretty sharpish!

Unless the league are very lienient now, don't fancy your chances of being allowed up on Park Lane ground. You will need your new gaff.

 

The league were very strict to non league clubs who wanted promotion in the first few years, after promotion was granted from conference, with all due respects to Canvey they all had better grounds. No offence meant boys, just being realistic with you.

Well I am neutral Fleet Fan, as far as the Conference goes with Canvey being two divisions apart from us, personally I would like to see the Shots win the title. It is no skin of my nose and wish them (Canvey) well, like any other team apart from Heybridge and Ricay. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

No, Graham left he wanted more time in Spain and could not commit to training sessions and although we took 10 points out of 12 away, I think we took 0 out of 12 at home. He was sacked the day before our last game away at Hitchin where Tim Moyletter was caretaker.

 

Ex Hornchurch Boss George Borg is our Manager, we have signed about 10 new players for next season, since Geroge joined us after the play offs.

 

A few Hornchurch boys some X players, plus a few new faces.
