southend had 600 odd down the sea wall end, i guess that can be upped to include round the corner to the halfway line.. but if we are expecting sh.tloads then they split the main terrace n cram loads in there as aldershot will testify not sure how many they packed in 1500 ?

By the way, when you come to our ground, please note the following:

1. No the ground is not very good - there are plans afoot to build a bigger and better one;

2. No we don't have that many fans - you may outnumber us

3. Yes our manager did eat all the pies.

That about covers the usual standard topics for abuse. Some would say we don't deserve to be in the Conference, but we made it and will give it our best shot. That may prove not to be good enough, who knows ? We have some decent players so might prove good enough to stay up - if we can perform week in week out.

Whats the allocation for away support at your ground ??????????????

Going off on a tengent..... the home support allocation is believed to be enough to accomodate one man & his dog. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Not long now until the fixtures are released.....

our flood lights have broken on 3 occasions in living memory one of those was deliberate so all the fleet fans could nick the soap out of the toilets..

new ground venues are as follows

in the number one slot.. waterside farm (perfect)

coming up on the rails.. sadlers farm (very unperfect unless you drive)

number three.. er just make noises about a new ground but stay where we are and spend all the money on players and one portatoilet for the 2,000 away fans we get every week

Well when we were down last season a figure on shotsweb said that 2292(ish) Aldershot fans had clicked through the turnstiles. A night that I won't forget. We were fairly comfortable too. The terrace was full, it was packed, but it wasn't a cramage.

Not sure about other teams, but i think we will be segregating most games, with the away end being the sea wall end, which is where we put Telford and Southend last season. Southend got about 700 tickets but we can enlarge the area to the dugout which i reckon could push the allocation up to about 1100?
