There is an interesting post on confguide giving the cost of season tickets for most of the clubs in the Conference. The conclusion is that our season tickets are the cheapest and also the best value in terms of the number of 'free' games.

As a fan this raises a bit of a dilemma. Do we applaud the club for its generosity or do we criticise them for selling themselves short and 'missing out' on some much needed income?

In my opinion i think the club deserves credit for thinking long term, in keeping prices sensible and encouraging more fans to come to matches, not just trying to line their own pockets.

Few supporters will be likely to know that our admission prices are the cheapest in the Conference, so perhaps the club should advertise the fact

Exactly - most people don't realise how far we have come in the past few seasons, and a tenner per game ( £155 per season) probably seems a tad expensive.
Seeing the costs of the other teams in our league puts it in perspective what a good deal we get, to see the standard of footie we are now at.
Publicise that fact ..
