I'm talking about the trend set by whoever it was who eventually (thankfully) decided aginst his alarming "bouncing bombs" avatar, but which was then taken up with gusto by Fleet Fanatic, aka Super Daz (my concern at the time was registered here) and has now been adopted by Chatham Gary. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought that our avatars were somehow supposed to reflect an aspect of our character or the image we wished to project.
Now I'm all for tolerance & inclusion chaps, but the prospect of a terrace peppered with trannies next season doesn't exactly set my pulse racing, especially as I know only too well what you look like in the flesh. Whether it be trans... simply ..vestite, or (gulp) ... sexual, take it from me, chaps, it's really not you.
I have the name of a therapist who specialises in identity (Daz) & mid-life (Gaz) crises, should you feel the need.
