Silverstone or London?

Recommended Posts

Fact of life ! London is bl**dy grid-locked every day. Red Ken introduces congestion charges in the centre to try and ease the situation. Seems this tax-by-stealth will soon be extended outwards from the centre.

The surrounding area of Silverstone is a disaster, traffic-wise, on the three 'race-days', so what chance has London really got ? - Appealing, though it is !!

How about using the money it would cost to prepare London for running a GP there being used to bring Brands Hatch up to scratch & bring the British GP back to its proper home.

Well, we went up to Regents Street to see the F1.........NEVER AGAIN..."total chaos"... the Picadilly Line was closed due to a Fire Alert...everyone was diverted to Goodge Street station, which I think was trying to hold all the spectators, couldn`t even get near Regent Street as the police had closed the roads off earlier so we were forced to watch it on large screens which had been erected all over the place. We did get to HEAR the cars which was fantastic and everyone cheered, but there will need to be LOTS of work and LOTS of negotiations before it is ever pulled off!!!!!!!!
