Hi, one day i was sitting at home and was rather bored so i decided to create my own website about The Conference National. If you could take a look at it and tell me what you think of it and also inform of any thing or any additions i can make to improve it i would be gratefull. Thanks!

Well look s alot more presentable then the gnfc fodder we have as a home page.

 

Any chance of a gnfc only one. I think it will be highly appreciated and maybe show the so called web professional at the club what it should look like.

A GNFC/fanzine-only one is halfway there and will be online (I hope) in time for the new season.

I just cant understand why the club chose the format for the current one.

 

I was looking at the Folkstone Invicta site (for directions for Saturday) and think their layout is excellant.

Mike - Theres no need to call the guy such names - the general view is that supporters dont belive the website design is very sensible/ easy to work with, but the guy has tried and, hopefully, given the consensus view, will adapt the site accordingly.

 

Defamotory remarks such as calling the guy a to**er serve no purpose other than getting things off your chest - it would be much more useful to offer constructive criticism.

Apart from the awfull amount of red and the time its taking to do i dont think it will be all that bad when its finished, it can only get better, and time will tell.

I have to say ours is one of the poorer websites I have seen. Freinds of mine design their own sites, some of which are far more complex that the present effort, and are far more user freindly and are easier on the eye.

I woundn't have taken that much thought, planning and design to follow what had been done before. Well designed and simple to use.

Sorry the person doing our web site is a professional web creator!!!

There are basic errors that you just don't do when designing a website and this guy managed to do most of them!

Though I now notice that the 3 frames have been removed. It's improving, slowly!!!

It was a total mess.

 

If I was designing from scratch , I would first off all get the remit from the club. I would also require some input into layout and design aquired by visiting other clubs sites.

 

It was just awful. The dropping of the bottom frame has helped , and maybe a coulr change and it will look a lot better.

 

Red is just awfule as a background.

Thanks for all your comments about my website, if you remember i said i will be updating it regulary, so as the saturday has only just recently passed i have updated the site. So if you add the site to your favourites, i will be updating this site regulary.
