Chances of a good start?

in recent seasons we can hardly be accused of being quick off the blocks.. our first 5 games hardly look easy either (mind you do any at this level) away to the favourites, local derby at home , another trek to exeter and home games against barnet and tamworth

I am glad we have a fairly hard start to the season as it is best to get the better teams out of the way. e.g carlisle, exeter & barnet, gravesend will be hard due to the fact that its a derby.

it will also show the players what standard they will have to set themselvs if they want to do well. If we were to play well against carlisle then the player will then know they will have to play like that every week as carlisle will be up there or there abouts

carlisle away for a 1st game is great, our players (and theirs) will be treating it like a cup final rather than another leauge match like they would if it was half way thought the season. i think both sides are gonna play a cracker and it will be win win for all the fans. or am i just dreaming!

no.. they have gone all 'effective' and 'unbeaten for ages' and if they hadnt had a crap start last season would have been close to the play offs .. it will be good to be playing them again, hopefully in front of a good sized suitably drunk tuesday night crowd

Beehive

From Mortway , The Pub is on left 150 yrds passed entance to ground.

From the station Its on the right as you walk towards the ground.

Ie if you find the ground you will find the pub.

Note that there aren't many other options, One is thje rugby club. If you call them and let them know you have a bus coming they usually can accomodate. Rugby club is a 2 mins walk from ground.

That's OK. I'm supposed to be meeting a mate who's a Carlisle fan in the Rugby club.
