The real Enfield, ie the Town, who the fans adore play at Brimsdown. Come down for a match and enjoy the fun.

cue........ Syrup, Rob, Holly, Russ, MK James and the other fan!!!

I dont mind Enfield Town. Besides, theyre alot closer to me (Walthamstow), but Im a traditional sort of a bloke at heart and you cant bin a club with a history going back to 1893.

This is probably old news on this forum, but I honestly beleive a merger would be best all round. But as they say of politicians, "Why should they do it? It makes sense".

I too am a pro merger but There are too many Ignorant people against even entering any sort of discussion on the subject, Both at ETFC & EFC.LAZAROU was the problem certainley NOT ENFIELD football club. And Jim people on this subject are entitled to an opinion that differs from yours.

The history of the original club ended with becoming homeless and both clubs are now busy building there own futures,It`s just that TOWN`S is brighter.nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more.

If any towners want to merge with enfield in the way topgun does then perhaps they should go there now and leave our club to us

Your right Jim we have ,But please let people have their say without chucking yawns at them .This subject will arise for probably years to come ,and new users of the forum will bring it up like Enfield blade has,all I ask is please respect other fans opinions as they do yours......And Haggis eater I am commited to the town ,Just spent £70 on season ticket,I subscribe to the Enfield lottery,Am a trust member, always buy 50-50 & Golden goal tickets & Sometimes .attend sunday morning work parties,And if I do go back to the old club they will 1 move back to the borough, with 2 a multi millionaire owner ,& 3 Eclipse the town in the piramid. And I would like to say I dont hold any post Lazarou grudges against the E's like SOME of you lot do.

Anybody who reads my posts knows that Iwish EFC every success for the future and am pleased that they have survivrd. I believe ETFC is the future now and respect the fact that those at EFC feel that they have that as well. It is the apparent feeling of both clubs however that a merger is out of the question and if I yawn it is because I am tired of old coles being raked over.

The only thing stopping a merger is certain egos at BOTH clubs. Now would be the ideal time to merge with both clubs at the same level in the pyramid, but it won't happen.

I can see a time when both clubs are fighting over a patch of land in the borough - how pointless would that be?

Anyway, yes, I believe Enfield FC are now playing 'home' matches at Ware.
