Not surprised to be honest though, lots of Midfielders competing for places...

Who remembers this? Good Luck Parms!!

parms has been excellent for canvey.. ok didnt get much of a look in last season but when he did play he was consistently good.. i wouldnt mind seeing him start now..
but i guess he had to move on to get more footy.. lets hope he dosent go to billericay!!
as with all players who you have watched for your own team for a while , just imagine parms playing for the opposition lurking on the edge of the area ready to unleash a net buster..then you can really appreciate how good he is

i always remember his free kick against northampton, crossed the ball & missed everyone & went out for a throw. he looked really sharp this pre season, sad to see him go.
He always enjoyed a laugh with everyone.

Good luck at wivenhoe mate

Shame he's gone. Parms was one of the old guard from when I first started watching Canvey on a regular basis towards the end of the 98/99 season. Certainly weighed in with some important goals.

This is a real shame but what happens.

Parms had an injury a couple of seasons ago that kept him out for a while and returned to a lot of competition. Since then, it has been hard for him to maintain a regular slot although he done a sound job when selected.
My son will always remember him for "nicking" his tic -tacs in the second half at Telford.

Just like to say well done Steve and have enjoyed watching you play and you've scored some screamers.

Also remember that Steve was involved in that build up for Greggors Match of the Day live goal against Northampton.

Wish you all the best Steve.

A bit better than Wivenhoe, he is too good to slip that far down the pyramide!
