Just to let you know, that Gillingham are playing QPR on Friday night and the game is live on Sky. Perfect opportunity to make a protest about Scally's plan to move to Gravesham. I will be in the QPR end (thanks to my West London hubby) and will be making my protest known to any Gills fans who cross my path.

Is anyone going to join me in a very vocal but non-violent protest?

yes i do go to the fleet when the gills are away like quite a few fans. that either go to Gillingham or Charlton.
But i am against moving to Gravesham.
1. because Fleet are already here and
2. Gillingham don't need new stadium.
and i do know people in the club. like a director who use to live next door to me.

and i helped out over the summer down at the ground painting, unlike some fans.
and the fleet was the first ever football match i went to.
i have been supporting The Fleet for four years now.

Listening to Scally on Radio Kent this morning and between the lines (In that Gravesham kept on coming into the frame)I am of the opinion that the Stadium will be built somewhere close to Ebbsfleet. He went to say that the site will revealed before Christmas, and he invisages that the covered stadia will support all sports from the "Beautiful Game" through to Athletics and Cricket. It will have a concrete base. Grass trays will be hydraulically hauled into and out of the arena for football, rugby, athletics and cricket(20-20 games.

Watch this space, as they say. <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
