OUFC official site reports that big striker Louis has joined the fleet on a months loan.

He should do well for you.

Scored goals for Woking last year whilst on loan.

Heres some details for those who are interested.

Position: Forward
Squad number: 21
Date of birth: 22/02/79
Jefferson Louis began playing football with Thame United. His career has not been without incident and in 2001 he served a 12-month prison sentence for dangerous driving, but he bounced back and performed well enough to earn a professional contract with Oxford United.

He finished last season as Oxford's second top scorer and also went on to bare all to the nation in a semi-naked dressing room dance in celebration of Oxford's draw against Arsenal in the FA Cup.

Louis is blessed with frightening pace, poise and strength. He poses a significant threat and first impressions suggest that playing against him is not unlike facing a battering ram on speed. Go J-Lo!

Scored 2 against us in the game at Woking, I believe.

Certainly a useful addition to the squad.

Hope he is not another Dennis Oli, though. His ONLY attribute was that he was quick.

Louis got something like five goals in six games or seven in eight games for Woking last season. They seem to rate him.

It was 5 in 8 according to soccerbase.

Those of you who were at Woking last season will remember how he absolutely tore us apart. He scored 2 and hit the bar a couple of times.

The Oxford fans seem to rate him as well

It's got to be a good move as back up for our forward line, things have certainly moved on from this time last year.
