Andy has one Manager of the Month, hopefully the fabled curse will not strike on Saturday.

Interesting, it should have been Paul Fairclough

Obviously, the Conference Gods are with us. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Don't care if we should have won it. That fact is Andy DID win and DESERVED to win it. Congrats all round to the whole club.

Well done Andy. Fully deserved.

Wasn't Paul Fairclough a Coronation Street character?

Still maybe we should have listened to all those supporters who called for Andy to resign this time last year with quotes such as he has taken the club as far as he can and other such items of wisdom. I have not seen many of them come on here and admit they got it wrong or apologise to Andy for some of the comments made. My only worry with Andy is now that the Newcastle job is available will we be able to keep him....................

Well done Andy.

Now let's disprove the 'Manager Of The Month curse theory' on saturday.....

Anyone up for a meeting in the Plough before the game to discuss getting rid of Andy? Where are those dullards now?

They never showed for the original meeting. I was in the Plough & later the bar, ready to put in my 4 penny worth, before the arranged meeting last season & there was no sign of Fat Jim (?) or any of his mates.

I suspect Fat Jim is busy on the Margit forum trying to get rid of Kinnear.

On a side note walked over tower bridge with Francis Duku last night. Very nice bloke indeed playing for Lewes on non-contract basis at the moment. Only had nice things to say about everyone at the club. Said his injury doesnt bother him at all. He's a big bloke indeed when u stand next to him !

Congratulations to Andy - although I would have thought that a draw at home to Northwich would see him miss out. Still, maybe it was mainly the York result that did it.

Aah, gotta love those Andy Ford out days

Almost exactly a year ago today as well! What a difference a year makes eh?

Take a trip down memory lane and check these out (and it was CHUBBY JIM lol):

Seriously though, take a look at these and the other threads around this time as well (around pages 50-53) they're interesting reading about a pretty dark time for us. Lots of fighting amongst ourselves and a lot of people seeing absolutely no hope for us at all.

Thank God Andy stayed
