Saturday

Hi guys, looking forward to the game Saturday; should be a cracker. How are you playing at the moment. I've been very impressed with the start you've made but do you think you're capable of sustaining that kind of form throughout the season ?

Without wishing to take anything away from your good start, I think it's fair to say you haven't played a side with genuine ambitions of a top 5 finish, perhaps with the exception of Morecambe. Do you think you're capable of holding your own against those sides ?

Oh and do you think the pub will be showing the Carlisle Burton match ?

Thankos Muchos

I think that you will find that it was Matt Lee , outside the box with a shot in the top corner in the 93rd minute that brought us joy last season.

PS Any comical own goals will also be greatly appreciated on Saturday

How many will you be bringing down ?

No no, it was Michael Brough laugh.gif

Our defence really is our strong point at the moment. We haven't conceded in the last 3 games and the only goals prior to that were either a penalty or with an outfield player in goal. Although unfortunately Mark Rodgers looks set to miss this one.

Probably somewhere between 300-400

Sammy i think he was refering to Stevenage win over Hereford when Michael Brough scored in the 93rd minute not our 2-2 draw last season. It should be an interesting next two games as both Stevenage and Hereford were the last clubs to beat us in the Conference.

Looking forward to seeing you.

Despite our collective hatred for your manager, something I must confess to sharing, I was impressed with the number of supporters you brought last season & the way they added to the atmosphere of the afternoon.

Their behaviour in The Plough before the game was a credit to you as a club.

James - I know , but that is of little interest to me, but Matt Lees strike on the overhand is...

In regards to the comical defending , if anyone was wondering it was a reference to the season before last played on 25Jan03 , and not any other comical defending by Stevenage.

Yea last season was fantastic, and it's now one of my favourite away games of the season. We'll be there bright an early this time too.

I expect we'll bring more fans than we did last time, so there'll be a great atmosphere, if you boys are up for it.

Great souns like a quality game, glad to see you are bringing a lot, hopefully the overall will be 1,500 plus. Will be a good day, and i assume most of your fans will be invading the plough?

With no clashing games at Charlton / Gillingham, Mr. Aitken has been quoted as hoping for around 2,000+.

Now - do we adjust our predictions???
