PFA BACKS REFS

Taken from this morning's Metro:

'Referees have been praised by the Professional Footballers Association for their more 'liberal' attitude this season. The opening to the new Premiership campaign has seen a drop in the number of red cards and cautions issued from 12 months ago. PFA deputy chief executive Mick McGuire said "Referees have followed a far more liberal approach from what was, at the start of last season, almost a zero-tolerance level. Managers are appreciative of it".

Now either we're being hard done by at this level, or the Premiership refs will soon be in trouble with FIFA!
