Conference Cup

The details are due to be finalised at a meeting today but it seems it could start this season and end at the start of June! Where that leaves part time teams like ourselves who`s seasons would be over by that date i don`t know. Also it seems they are to invite teams from other countrys to join in at later rounds.

"4: From the Fifth Round onwards the Competition may be reformatted with the final rounds held over until the first week in June, and subject to acceptance of two invited international clubs from European Countries who will be included in the competition from the appropriate level of competition in that country. The Board of Directors reserve the right to amend the format of the competition until the commencement of the season."

Forget the LDV - I'd be surprised if your ground is up to standard as the LDV apply different rules to the Conference and the League. I think the criteria for the LDV was total capacity of at least 5000 and seating for at least 1000.

those arnt the cups i want us to be in.. those are a list of 'all' the cups there should be.. i dont want to be in the vase either..

vase up to ryman prem level except say the top 6 from last season..

trophy for those sets of top 6 teams plus the rest of non league..

ldv for divs 1 n 2 and a few conf clubs.. fa cup for everyone.. that should be it get rid of all the crappy league cups.. and change the ldv to the f.a. plate or something

To many cups - they'll only get in the way at the end of the year when we are in the play-offs <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

Now - whatever happened to the "Pampers Nappies Old Boy x11 Cup" ?
