At least we've got a consolation goal now from Manny after Chris Moore headed down a corner.

And to top it off, Chris Moore has been sent off for 2nd bookable offence (Chas said he shouldnt have been booked for 1st) So now Moore is suspended on Tuesday, Porter is unfit and Shearer is unlikely to recover from having an elbow in his face from Hatch.

 

The only consolation is that Daggers lost 4-0 today and also had a player sent off.

Down to 7th - oh well, back to the drawing board - the game revolved around that Hatch, Shearer incident by all accounts - we went silly in the next 15 minutes, otherwise matched them - and of course, had Hatch been Red Carded, it would have made quite a difference to them as well. (We await the video evidence of the incident to see whether it was accidental or not, to be fair)

Andy wasnt happy with first half and suggested we werent at the races today. We didnt press them enough, he said.

 

He apreciated second half was better though.

 

Sounds like we also have someone we have taken on from Bromley, who could start at centre half on Tuesday.

Hatch always has been a bit wild with his arms and elbows, even when he was here. We must remember to give him a hostile reception and some torrid abuse when he returns here!!
