I took a couple of pensioners to the game yesterday and they were quite dismayed that they had to pay the full admission price £11.00. The person on the gate asked if they had a concession voucher, they dd not, because it did not state anywhere outside the turnstile they needed one, let alone the not displaying any price whatsoever (probably so they can whack the price up a quid depending on whom they are playing).
But Barnet were giving vouchers to children to get in for free.
I would be interested to find out how they orginise the concession vouchers.

Believe it or not - that system is LOSING you money.

They tried to charge me £11 for Daniel. When I told them that 'I wasn't paying £11 for a 12 year old' & that they were 'having a laugh' (with an expletive in front of 'laugh'), they promptly let him in for nothing!

It went from trying to have me over to doing themselves over.

Same thing happened two seasons ago.....

Train was on time, connections were perfect!
Train was free, tube cost £2.45 for 1 adult/1 child!
Ah the pleasures of working for the trains.

(I walked in and the game kicked-off.....)

In the home game against Hereford it did mention that vouchers for under 16s and OAP's would be available from the club office.

Who else noticed home fans paid £9.00, whilst we coughed up £11.00, every time I've visited this ground they always charge more for away fans and the burgers were diabolical!!!! Apologies if the concessions were mentioned elsewhere.

To be fair, the bloke doing the tannoy at the Hereford game did say that half price vouchers for the Barnet game are on sale at the club office. However, I had no idea concessions needed one till later in the week.

P.S. Burgers weren't that bad, but nowhere near to Fleet standard of course

I'm sure the Burgers last season were far superior, even had cheese on them that day, maybe the five pints of Country bitter in the Old Red Lion did not add to the culinary experience.
