The Carthium Cup is a brand new competition, introduced this season, which incorporates all 66 member clubs of the extended and restructured Football Conference.

Title sponsors The Carthium Group are one of the largest suppliers of windows, doors, conservatories and glazing components in the UK, with an annual turnover of circa £140million.

The Carthium Group's three-year sponsorship of the competition, which will be played on a regional basis in the early rounds, is the largest for a cup competition outside the FA Cup and Football League cup competitions.

Football Conference Commercial Director Joanna Adams was proud to announce: "We are delighted to have The Carthium Group as title sponsors for the newly formed League Cup. The Carthium Cup offers our clubs another platform to showcase their talents and really unites the competition."

Pat Chambers, Chief Executive of The Carthium Group, added: "The sponsorship of The Carthium Cup continues to demonstrate the high regard The Carthium Group has for football at this level. We look forward to an exciting season ahead."

There already was a post on this below.

Does anyone know any of the actual details on structure yet? So do we enter later being in the top conference or the same time as everyone else, for example. I hope we're involved in the regional section, might get a tie with Welling or Margate again. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
