Never having been able to sort the minds of managers or 29 year old players I am unable to ensure that I will see the majority of Canvey games next season
The manager seems to have made his mind up but the 29 year old is keeping his own counsel (well reared you see)
How!ever the dice falls for next season I will always feel at home on the Canvey forum and wish you all well for the summer break

Pabird you will be welcome on here anytime!!

Others have left Canvey and been well received by the Yellow Army, Simon Liddle is a prime example.

Good Luck to you know who wherever he does end up...even if it's Grays!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Cheers Matt
As for where (inc CIFC) you will probably know before me
He missed his vocation as Director of coaching and must surely get approaches from MI5/6

You know what the communication is like at our Club!

We won't know until a day before the start of the first League game who's stayed and who's gone. Not everyone at the Club likes our website you know!!

Friendlies are the worst, cause we can't get a line-up for the game especially trialists, so we see a new face and we just have to ask round until the answer becomes unanimous. I remember having to do that with Lee Boylan in his first trial game for us! He scores two goals in three minutes and no-one had a clue who he was!!!

With the individual lack of communication can be for all sorts of reasons not least protecting a possible future action
As part of a management style it is almost always insecurity on the part of the management

I was quite surprised that when we enquired about all the Players that left CIFC last season that we weren't told about we actually got straight answers!!

This season we should be able to get more out of the Club if only a 'few' signings are coming our way and several departing.
