I wonder if there is a low turn out & the club know it before the game kicks off that we will be able to swap ends.

I cant see FGR bringing many down even if england wasnt playing so it would be nice if we could swap ends. at Farnboro we were able to and it was good being able to go behind both ends for a change.

Canvey for me. I want to see the England game but Canvey comes first.
What a selifish decision from Forest Green what do they hope to achieve by refusing to move the game? Lets hope we hammer them out of site and finally get our first home win.

I heard that the game was also going to recorded and watched in the clubhouse afterwards. So I guess that is true.

I assume that FGR didn't want to move the game because it would be harder for their fans and players/officials to get to a game at 12 oclock or on a friday night.....

I can assure you all the FGR fans are moaning about it, and only a few die-hards will be coming to Canvey Island. Where exactly did you hear it was us who would not change the kick-off time? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

...but where did the Echo get it from ?!? If it was the BBC website then it's probably wrong - I think the last three match reports have seen us buy an opposing player during the course of the match (last Sat we apparently bought Morecambe's keeper who made a great save in a one on one to keep us in the game...)
