Radio - Burton Game

Thought he might of started Porter ahead of Shearer today because Porter's only just recovered from that injury hasn't he? And even though I wasn't there, I can hazard a guess that we missed Maccas presence today. Maybe putting Gledhill in the right back spot and pushing proths into Maccas spot may have been better than playing Drury, whose arguably an attacking midfielder, in centre mid in an away game.

Andy admitted on RK afterwards we were possibly a bit too attack minded and gung-ho.

However, given our form and league position compared to Burton, Andy was probably right to "go for it".

I think we missed the steel of Macca and Jay in midfield today, which as Robbo quire rightly said, couldin hindsight, have been compensated by playing Prothers in the centre of midfield.

Well done, Louis. It's patently obvious from Jimmy's post, except to those with the intellectual capacity of a flea which presumably includes you, that Jimmy WAS there.

We certainly looked poor in the centre of the park. The normally reliable Surey didn't get on the ball as much , and Jacko doesn't appear to be able to shine at this level any more.

With the Moose and Drury also below par, the midfield in my opinion was where the game was lost.

Tom Davis looked good when he came and did create problems for them when he got on the ball. He does look a prospect.

Macca and Saunders were sorely missed.
