If you opened it up to non members you'd no doubt fill the coach.

Not necessarily. Besides, Trust membership is required when travelling on the supporters' coach for insurance purposes.

I know other clubs run coaches for non-members so
just wonder why you have to be member for insurance purposes

I have a season ticket at Chelsea this season it cost 770. Thats the most expensive so far and I have been going for fourteen years. I worked out at an estimate it would cost exactly the same 770 for me to buy a GNFC Season ticket and watch them go all over the country incl coach travel. Just thought I'd add my two penny worth

I would be very interested to see how you worked this out!

Led to believe the players are travelling by coach today. I know we're part time and money is tight, but to travel 230+ miles before a match at this level puts us at a big disadvantage, and for me to get a result today will be a bonus.

I doubt we would fill a coach if it was opened up to non members, just another anonymous poster on the wind up.

Far from it, I think it's a valid point. I've travelled at non-members rate at a number of clubs over the years. Just another typical remark from an over opinionated moderator. As for yesterday result, hardly surprising when a side has a four hour coach journey is it?

I worked it out on the basess that

a season ticket at the Fleet costs £155,

Coach travel to all those clubs outside of the london area costs £25 (I didn't know that the Halifax game would be £31) So that would come to 325.

Inside the london area is I believe £10, so thats £80.

plus an average entrance in to the 21 away game, £10, £210.

£155 + £325 = £480 + £80 = £560 + £210 = £770.

It was just an estimate and Iworked it out while I had a spare five minutes at work. It is based on the best of my knowledge at the time. I asked how much a coach to Accrington would be and I was told £25 so this is what I belived to be the coach travel to all games out side the london area theres thirteen of them.

I also asked about the Barnet game £10 so I belived this to be the price for all games inside the london area Eight of them, 9 including us.

Hve I got the price of the season ticket right? Bet I havent, and as for the £10 pound average entry fee is that not correct.

Bizarre comment, for somebody who claims to have so much knowledge himself!

Perhaps you didn't realise that Jimmy & his family put in a lot of unrewarded hours for the club?
Perhaps you didn't realise that Jimmy mans the club shop on a regular basis?
Perhaps you didn't realise that Jimmy's mother is Jessica? Ring any bells? Supporter's Trust?
Perhaps you didn't realise that Jimmy's father is our tannoy announcer?

Maybe it's about time YOU, Mr. Stevenson, checked your facts?

If that's the case, and he's so well connected with the club, then perhaps he should keep some of his opinions to himself, as least off this website.

The Trust like everyone else want away travel to work, no add on fees, just the amount the coach cost, divided up as Jimmy said not rocket science.

As the Trust organise the travel, and you would think that most people wanting to travel to see the lads away, would be only to delighted to join the Trust and this help the club, with money and help organised and arranged by the Trust and its member, So the £10.00 per year fee for the Trust is cheap, especially when it also adds in Insurance for Travel.

We have hopefully come up with a new coach company, and will be offering travellers to Tamworth a seat on the coach, provided they are a trust member for £10.00. Bookings can be made by phone on 01634 201026 or at the Carlise game, £10.00 fare to be paid in advance, and unless we cancel the coach because the game is not on, the £10.00 is non-returnable. Sounds hard you mgith say, but we have been let down before by people bokking seats on the coach and then not turning up, regardless how many we take. i.e 10 or 49, the coach still costs the Trust the same, we will be trying out the new firm and if all works out OK, we will then continue to offer away travel and hopefully cheaper prices, We though £30.00 was a lot, but that was how the pirce we had quoted worked out. The Scarborough game, provided 49 people travel will work out at £17.00, but of course goes up if 40 people do not take uop the offer . The Hereford match will cost £12.00 once again provded 49 people travel.

So its up to you, we have what we think is probably the best deal we can get, much cheaper that the previous quotes.

All we need are " bums on seats" I await you calls.

Just seen the quotes from Robert Stevenson, regardless of who he is talking about I would think more of him if he registered and perhaps under his own name.

Opinions are fine, mine always have my name attached to them, so do loads of others and those with nick-names have had them so long we recognise them as well. So come on unregistered Robert Stevenson, Who are you???
