rumour doing the rounds today that Danny Clarke is on his way back to ETFC!

Has JC lost the plot? are there no better players out there, that we have to go to players that have left ETFC, surely there are other players in Ryman 1 and 2; or Minerva leagues who could do a job for us.

I wouldn't mind seeing Clarke back. His goal scoring record for ETFC speaks for itself. Again it would have to be 'Last chance saloon'.

Would the return of Allen and clarke hinder team spirit.? JC knows that better than any of us. If he decides to allow players back.He should be backed up in his discision.

I remember people saying Clarke`s last chance was his last chance.

I love to watch Daniel training on thursday nights with the lads. He has a swagger that is just pure Daniel. None of the clubs Daniel has visited since leaving Town have had the atmosphere

of the town. See you soon Daniel I have no doubt.

If rumours like this get Smithy scoring 4 top class goals like today then keep spreading them!

Competition for places has certainly got players performing better since they lost their complacency. When we eventually play Waltham Abbey's kindergarten team we need skill, fitness, confidence and a fanbase that is 100% behind the team! Come on Town I feel we have turned the corner at last onwards and upwards

maybe Jim/Stato can give us the stats on DC's last 10 or 15 games for Town?

As for backing JC, i think he must be pleased with the amount of support he does get; but with the form Smithy has hit - 6 goals in 2 games (!!) do we need DC back?

Oh per-lease, leave it out, DC back AGAIN!

Err WHY??

For Crying out loud whats next, Bunn, Watson & Quinn?

I, yes I, would rather see Super Kev up front than Clarkey, at least you know what your getting, effort, commitment & loyalty with a good attitude.

C'mon JC forward not backwards!

I know Jim has his eye on another striker and one has been seen at training (not Danield). Let's wait and see.....

Gary Abbott!

We met Gary's Sister at the Town Show a couple of years ago nice people. Town fans have always coveted Abbo and if Jim bought him back the gates would swell with expectation alone. Wasn't the CV I heard though......

Would be nice to see Abbo at the Town, He always knew where the net was, but isnt he about 52 now,(joking)
i remember him in his first spell at Enfield FC, and that feels like a lifetime ago.

We could always follow Garforth Town's lead. They have just unveiled their new midfielder who happens to be 50 years old. Admittedly it is Sócrates, so at least they know he'll draw the crowds

thought that he was a footballer, not an artist?
