Saturday was Enfield FC's worst home defeat in any competition since the war!

......whereas Enfield Town really ARE playing park football now - Netherne Village followed by White Notley. No idea who they are as they're not even listed in my version of the Non-League directory - but they were the victors of Wormley Rovers, a local park side, on Saturday. If Wormley had won through against the Town, would they still have had to pay their 'subs'(paying fees, not substitutes!) to play?

Ouch, touch a nerve did we Mr Prat Keeper?
Firstly Netherne are quite clearly not a park side, they have a better ground than Enfield FC (sic)
Secondly, if it was all about watching the best club in the best league we would all be watching Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool ETC.
And finally "SAY WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE" and you are where exactly?

Mr Keeper, nice name. Rather than harp on about the standard of football you assume ETFC are playing, I would suggest that you concentrate on what's happening at Enfield FC (Boreham Wood). Yes you are playing 'real' teams, but you also seem to be suffering 'real' defeats, and are now bottom of a 'real' division. I'd be far more concerned as to how Teflon Tone and his sidekick Tom are going to stop the freefall, after all Hendon are hardly a force these days, although I grant you they are a 'real' team.
BTW, why were you playing the Middlesex Senior Cup match at Somersett Ambury, who are in the Directory at least, I suppose. Didn't realise their ground was within the borough, or even Middlesex? May as well have switched the match to Viking Greenford for the gate money.
Toodle-pip.
