Enfield struggled to breakdown a determined Edgeware defence this afternoon in a very bad performance.A couple of decent save's from the Edgeware keeper and a Howlling miss from Jeff Hammond was all E's could muster in the first half.Edgeware were unlucky not to have scored in the second half on two occasions and a Jamie Richards header lacked any direction when he was well placed to do better and Bunny had a shot that went wide and the game then petered out to a 0-0 draw. A Push and shove brawl at the final whistle just about summed up the afternoon.
.......A mention of Enfield reserves who amazingly won at southall 1-0 when a mass crop of Injuries reduced them to eight men during the game and they somehow held on .

So how many at Ware today?

Did the EFC revival continue with another 600+ gate?

What's the chances of being spat at,in two concectutive games.? Either Bunny is VERY unlucky,OR he winds opposing players to such an extent that they spit on him (spitting is almost unheard of in British football). If/when it does happen,i think its a disgusting and cowardly act.OR Bunny cries 'spit' everytime he has a face-to-face with an opposing player.?

Answers on a postcard.

Read my post carefully, syrup.I condemed spitting. And if a Town player did spit, then i condeme him unreaservedly. Also, i agree that lots have people have been wound-up by Bunny, without feeling the need to spit on him. The fact remains that being spat on in two concecutive games must be a million-to-one shot. I'm sure the vast majority of players have never been spat on in their entire careers.

I thought we played better than we did against Town, just couldn't make the final breakthrough. Didn't see the spitting incident - there's NO excuses for that, winding up the opposition is part & parcel of the game. Anything happening with the Town player then LS, has be been reprimanded by Jim or not?

Didn't see anything myself but I assume it happened - I'm sure if it did Jim will do the right thing. Anyway when are you next coming to watch the mighty E's? We're at Hertford on the 27th if you're not playing and you fancy a top of the table clash.

I've nothing against going to an EFC saturday home game,IF Town are not playing.Which is not very often.

MK.If you ever fancy watching a game IN Enfield, you're more than welcome to come down to Brimsdown. You probably won't reconise the place. It actually looks like a proper stadium (which it definatly didn't a few seasons ago.)

Not interested in MK Dons, just like the rest of the people in Milton Keynes. EFC first, Northampton second, and that's it.

Big game today chaps- come on the E's!!!

Final score today was,
Hertford 4 Enfield 0
Hertford 2.0 up at the break and Enfield down to 10 men with Jamie Andrews sent off for what looked like a kick at another player during a mass bout of silly buggers.

Since Dave McDonald has been in charge, have EFC ever played a game WITHOUT a mass bout of 'silly buggers' happening.?

What-no spitting?

Surely some EFC players must have been victimised in other ways then?

Too cold perhaps?

You know what, i have noticed in recent months is that you enfield town fans really are a sad bunch of prats. As a grondhopper i have visited many clubs around the south east and where ever youve been you just seem to leave a bad impression at level five clubs as no one seems to like you.I have been to edgeware. flackwell. wroxham.romford.concord, leyton ,ilford,harlow.burnham.and the enfield vase match recently .everyone of these clubs dislikes you with a passion that ive never seen before im just interested to know WHY ? I think the enfield fans that stayed loyal to their club deserve a pat on the back and not ridicule as you enfield town twats seem eager to dish out. When i visited brimsdown at the diss game i thought this is a club that may go places but i have since learned that the brimsdown stadium is not actually theirs and yet they seem to think that they own the place. And by the way it seems brimsdown hate you all as well as ive been to a spartan away game of theirs and spoke to one of their people and i was told its only brimsdown chairman that wants you there. So it seems that enfield town are on a very sticky wicket and one day your comeuppence will eventually occur.
