It really must be tiring being all knowing. The brimmo bit must have been a terrible shock. Having been to all of the places you mention and plenty more, I know your analysis is way off. Why should Wroxham hate ETFC? Played one at thier place, took a healthy following, and lost. All pretty satisfactory from their perspective, I'd have thought. Harlow lost the one game played between the two clubs, but I'd be surprised if that manifested itself as 'hate'-just a desire to get their own back at some point. I can't believe that in the main clubs in other leagues give a toss.

It will always be for Brimsdown to take a commercial decision (within the framework of the extant groundshare agreement at the time) about whether or not to share and develop their facilities with another club. And equally, it will always be the case that some observers will desire a different outcome. But the reality is that its a good deal for both parties. I imagine that Brimsdown could have found it very difficult to found it very difficult to maintain senior status in the future without a groundshare.

That just about sums up your arrogance i suppose you really do think your club is gods gift to football but in all honesty your just a level 5 basement club that will always be nothing other than that.

Shadow .Just because you abondoned you local community, stop having a dig at our 'supporters run' club.

You talk some crap. You knew we were sharing with Brimsdown before you turned up there. If you didn't,you are admiting you know f*ck all about level 5 football. You favour EFC because their fans have decided to go travelling ,like you yourself do with the MK Dons.

Also are you really saying that you go to all these grounds and ask everyone what they think of Enfield Town???.Behave yourself! you're fooling no one...Or are all these clubs spontaniously talking about the Town.If thats the case, we must be making a bigger inpression that we first thought.

The simple fact is,you hate Enfield Town BECAUSE they are a supporters run club and broke away from their original club (just like the club you hate most,AFC.) and because a certain Mr FRUITBAT is a supporter of them..END OF !!!

Final score today was,
Hertford 4 Enfield 0

Chin up Enfield, I think I am right in thinking that Hertford destroyed 2nd placed Witham Town 5.0 as well, may just prove that Hertford are more serious contenders for the title.

I am sure Richo etc will bounce back.
Good Luck.

I have been to edgeware. flackwell. wroxham.romford.concord, leyton ,ilford,harlow.burnham.and the enfield vase match recently .everyone of these clubs dislikes you with a passion that ive never seen before im just interested to know WHY ? I think the enfield fans that stayed loyal to their club deserve a pat on the back and not ridicule as you enfield town twats seem eager to dish out.

Now then 'Shadow'. You really must have been unlucky to pick out people at all these places that dislike ETFC.

We've played Edgware once, beat them but it was a good atmosphere on a sunny day.

We played Flackwell Heath and were lucky to beat them but there was great banter between the fans and their keeper gave his match fee to one of our disabled supporters. Not much animosity there then.

Like the Sponsor said, we took a large following to Wroxham in a Vase game, were well beaten and went home. No fuss.

The Romford one really baffles me. They're one of the clubs that I really enjoy facing, generally a good atmosphere and good game with both sets of supporters getting on. There is one bloke on these forums who doesn't seem to like us but then again he doesn't seem to like anyone.

Concord should really enjoy playing us as it's only recently we've worked out how to beat them. Never, in my memory, and problems on or off the field though.

Leyton - we'll let that one slide...

Ilford. Never any problems with them, generally competititve games with good atmospheres.

Harlow? We dumped them out the FA Cup this season if that's anything to dislike us for.

Burnham? Do me a favour. One of most Town fans favourite trips and always a warm welcome.

As for Enfield, well that really exposes you as clueless. Great atmosphere in the bar, old friendships renewed and an excellent contest on the field. I'm sure you could count their fans that 'hate us with a passion' on one hand. We are, after all, mostly cut from the same cloth. One thing you are right on is that they deserve a pat on the back for sticking with their club. A choice I respect but I'm sure most of them respect the decision to form ETFC.

Don't let the views of a few fans on these boards cloud your judgement (both opposing and ETFC fans). On the whole we're a friendly bunch as are virtually all clubs at this level.

Perhaps you enfield town boys dont understand english too well. Its true i dont like you because you sh*t on the club you supported because of one individual. And even now continue to do so.But answer me this did wealdstone form another club ,did dartford ,did maidstone,or did anyone else whose greedy owner and local authority that ripped them off.The answer is no.The AFCW situation with me was down to personal abuse that i encountered whilst seeing wimbledon in its last rites at selhurst(see CoCa Cola forum)so as for fan owned clubs no i dont like you and i think its a good bet you people slag off enfield f c fans who stay loyal to that club which i suppose sums up the sort of mentality that gets your club disliked .I would even wager if enfield town collapsed you would all crawl back to the original club like the sad two faced dicks you all are.

Shadow.

You know NOTHING about what went on before or after the split.ETFC was formed AFTER EFC supporters decided through a ballot to form another club. We all did this because we thought it was the ONLY way to preserve senior football in the borough of Enfield.

So a small percentage of fans decided to stay against the wishes of most EFC supporters). That was their choice and i respect them for it. I hope that they respect my dicision to abide by the wishes of the vast majority of EFC supporters to form another club.

Lazarou would probably still be in charge of EFC ,if he was still getting over 250 people turning up each game.It was only us leaving that made HIM leave.EFC have been very fortunate that a new chairman with money stepped in at the last minute.Good luck to them.

I sleep very well at night regarding my discision to act to try to save senior football in the borough AND that i am currently watching and supporting a team from Enfield IN Enfield.Your paranoid postings suggest to me that you are up a creek without a paddle, Shadow.AFC have called you a scab and you are unwelcome thier. MK Dons play too far away for you to go and watch (and anyway they are just a shell of what once was.)

Which leaves you tramping around the south of England on some trainspotting/grounghopping quest.Trying to engage stangers in conversation in various non league grounds.Meanwhile,i console myself that i am watching my team in my Town amounst 300 friends and supporters.

Sleep well.

Very soon AFC and ETFC could well be in higher leagues than MK and EFC.Supporters are taking back football from greedy moneymen and you're sitting on the wrong side of the fence shadow...you might not have many friends left in Wimbledon, but at least you'll have an impresive programme collection.

Someone once said a football club has but three elements.1.A STADIUM.2.ITS FANS.3.ITS PLAYERS .How many of those have MKfranchise got.My team still has two of those things, and is well on its way to getting all three.

PS. This post is not a criticism of EFC or its fans ,with whom barriers and relations are improving with all the time.It is a response to a bitter man that passes comment on clubs and situations that he know NOTHING about.
