Seems someone from the website must have read my post - seems Braniff has gone back to Millwall after his loan spell. That only gives Pearson another week or so I think.

Would probably agree that Greggors is the strongest in the air and holder of the ball in the team at the moment - but his speed and runs are now slow compared to most of those he is up against in the conference. Also referee's tend to give him the benefit on the first few challenges when he is held or fouled, but then penalise him throughout the rest of the game whether it is a legitimate foul or not.

<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/newbie.gif" alt="" />Greggors

He would probably have the 1st half hour of every game for me, the rest would be determined on how he is doing, could be considered a one trick pony (falls down in front of defender)and has little stamina or speed.

Definetly an important player and knows Lee Boylans style of play better than anyone other than Ollie.

I would probably get rid off him, but then again I would probably keep him.

FU*&ING CONFUSING THIS FOOTBALL LARK.. ME EDD URTS NOW...

After a drop in form mainly due to injuries and the odd suspension, do you think we will learn from this next season and the squad which is put together?

For example, when Ty Gooden joined I read somewhere that he had been injury prone. At the time it didn't seem to matter so much because our depth of squad and the part time nature of the game - less travel, no full time training, it didn't really matter.

However, this season it has effected us greatly. Doesn't seem a lot of point having players of great caliber such as Minton and Ty if they hardly ever appear.

The injury problems to hit our forwards has also been noticable. Greggors has his role, but when Lee is out injured, his role is more limited. Then to have Junior out as well - caused us lots of problems. Is it better to have players who are more adept at playing any form or stle rather than placing all our eggs in one basket?

Reading other clubs forums it also appears that many teams have struck injury crisis point at this time of year including G&N, Shots and others such as Burton. Burton seem to be getting it together again now after some of their injury problems have cleared - bit simlar to us?

Since we started this season every club we have played and obtained a result from has said we were a poor side and they were having an off day. Thing is I have seen, home and away, many clubs who did not appear that much better than us, Exeter, Woking and Stevenage to name a few. Look at where Exeter are now? Certainly no clubs from 10th (Scarborough) down have impressed me that much. I think we will start to grind out results and move slowly out of the bottom part of the table, assumming no more injuries or stupid suspensions, and we play a strong consistent squad.

When Ty joined, we all imagined he wouldn't play every game as there was players in the squad who could easily fill in and give him a rest.

That was alright in the Ryman League but the experience of players like Ty and Jeff is invaluable at this level. Unfortunately some of the players who have come in are not quite Conference standard or obviously don't have the influence or experience that Ty and Jeff have.

Get your point Yellow, but from a selfish club point of view (not my own) would you keep the signature of a player such as Ty who is definitely going to feel the pace if and when he gets to play again at this level?

There does seem to be certain players who are more resilient to playing at this level and can take the knocks week in week out and do a weeks work elsewhere and don't have the option of physio for a week at a full time club in preperation for the following saturday.

At the end of the day do you choose a squad and keep faith with good quality experienced players who can break down for a long time or do you chose a squad that is going to shrug the injuries and give you consistency, which is something we have lacked this season?

Whatever they were chanting, he was still applauded by a large section of the Daggers support when he came on.

Someones a bit touchy arnt they.

From where we were standing it sounded like Junior and not judas. Why would they be singing judas, what did he do wrong at D&R to get a response like that and as yellow said they clapped him when he come on

Anonymous,

Congratulations on being such a plonker.

All I did was point out that Pearson handled the ball and then took a theatrical tumble after having being cautioned.

In what way is that biased?

The game could have been different if Moore had scored after he went around Potter. You could have ended up winning 8-1 instead or losing 1-0. I didn't say how it could have been different.

Does anyone know what is actually wrong with Dobbo? Is he another Spencer Knight or what? I read the post above saying that he might not play again this season and that to me thinks he's gonna be released when his contract is up in the Summer unless we stand by him to recover fully for next season.

For me, I thought Dobbo, (and Benno if he hadn't retired) would love to have a crack at that holding Midfield role and tackle some of the bigger Conference Trolls on the Park.

According to Wardy's column in the programme the other week, Dobbo has a recurring back problem that will take some time to sort out.

I think not. He will always be well regarded by most Daggers.
