The game started with some pace, with a shot from either side just wide, in the 2nd min Hertford number 11 broke through on the right shot passed hoy and fired a shot well wide from about 10 yards out!! the next few mins proved to be very workmen like, with the ball rarely out of midfield, but in the 9th min a peach of a cross from there 4 was taken down with ease by there 11 he run past hoy again shot and scored, left Addai with just the ball to pick out of the net! minutes past by with lots of late tackles mainly from the hertford midfield then in the 26th min Hammond was taken down from behind the free kick was then taken by Hoy who, thunderbolted it past hertford keeper and almost broke the netting! A few late tackles later and some minutes later (33rd) Hertford's 7 floted a pass over the top of the E's defence for there 11 to score!

H/T Hertford 2-1 Enfield

The hevens opened up in the second half for about 10 minutes so I will pick it up from there as the first 10 were to b honest a bore, Fenton pick the ball up on the half way line ran at 3 defenders beat them all passed to a waiting Abbott only for him to put it wide from 8 yards out!
About the 70th minute Terry Back and Terry Robbins come on manager and ass manager. Back floted a free kick won by Akontoh, into the box for his assistant Robbins to head wide of goal.
In the 82nd min great play by Hertford's sub number 17 down the right crossed the ball over to the 10 to slot passed Enfields sub keeper
Torre-Lopez to make it 3-1 the last 8 minutes wrer played out in midfield and a good bit of keep ball by Hertford.
F/T Hertford 3-1 Enfield

Team: Addai(Torre Lopez), Hoy, P.Kriacou(Burnett), Gant, Scott(Addry*), Fenton(Robbins), Hassan(Back), Abbott, Addry*(A.Kyriacou), Knight (Akontoh), Hammond(Yerwood)

* Player came back on the pitch.

P.s This is my first ever match report sorry if it's SH*T.

Erm, why did the management run out? It's worrying to think that we don't have slightly more depth in the squad...

I haven't made it to any pre-season friendlies yet. But I was just wondering if any of our new signing have stood out? Do we have any players who are a good prospect for the future or even conference standard?

Will next season be slightly more exciting than last?

I would have thought that it might have something to do with the game tonight not wanting to play his "better" players twice in 2 days. Otherwise I dont know

With the increase in relegation places from one to four I'm afraid there's every chance that things will be more exciting (if 'exciting' is the right word). I hope I'm wrong because I do still have feelings for the old club and, more to the point, those of you who are still there.

No rob... just unique!

Everyone has their own style and opinion which is what makes reading reports interesting. All you have to do is 'publish' it in the appropriate forum! In reality, the most important thing is the facts not the way you convey them. Compare Stuart Hall with Jonathan Pearce!

Anyway a sincere "Thank you". Fancy giving it another go tonight?

Too early to say just yet - the team will take time to gel.

One thing though, and this is no disrespect to last season's incumbants, it will definitely be more entertaining! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/yelrotflmao.gif" alt="" />
