Tomorrow night my mate and me are coming over to Ware to watch Enfield battle with Hertford in the Assoc.Trophy. Chance to see Richo again, the legend that is Jamie Richards, hopefully he will be scoring left, right and centre. (Nothing against Hertford but he is a former Iron)

Do you kick off at 7.30 or 7.45pm?

Like last mid week, Braintree Town have a blank mid week, last week my mate and myself went to see Brentwood v Tilbury in the Floodlight Cup.

This week it was between, Bowers, E.Thurrock, Enfield, Heybridge. Ruled out Heybridge as we have only recently played them, ruled out Bowers only because the opposition Tilbury we saw last week, E.Thurrock I last saw pre-season, season before last. Not seen Enfield for a few years.

See you at Ware.

Seriously though. What roll have you got at EFC (or what roll would you like to have).?

I told Dell to move quickly if he wanted his old job back.Obviously he wasn't as quick of the blocks as yourself.

Thats sounds exactly the sort of reply Lazarou would have posted while he was at EFC.

I thought the new EFC were an open, honest, supporter orientated club.It seems the secrecy and closed shop mentality are harder to shake off that was first thought.

During the Terry Back regime and before, only the chosen few who mixed with the management after games knew anything of what was going on behind the scenes. It seems little has changed.

By doing so, EFC have nearly lost every floating and casual supporter they had.A secret handskake mentality will not bring the crowds back.

Are you now the EFC fixture secretary,Rob.? It's not a hard question to answer. And if you are not, would you concider the job if it became available.?..Again, a easy question to answer.

Thank you.Appreciated. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/top.gif" alt="" />

Although the fact that that was the EFC sec's first post, speaks volumes.

I hope that post marks a new policy of openess.Look forward to hearing more from you in the future,EFC Sec.

That may have been efc-sec's first post, but it is NOT THE Enfield FC Club Secretary, unless Syrup has changed his name or has resigned as EFC club secretary!!!!!!

Picture everybody looking back to see just what the opinions of Syrup have been. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I bet Danny Clarke will look at a few replies with interest now.

Burnhamnumber1's thread on 9th January for starters. To qoute Syrup:

"Unfortunately i think he will be training with us tonight id rather he was with you than us"

AND

" Thank god he wont be coming to us i was told tonight"

I know Danny quite well, and know he was a bit upset by them replies at the time!!!!!!

Personal opinions should always be regarded that way and not attributed to a club.

Brunob..You say that it 'was no secret' that Syrup was now Club Sec.Judging by his reaction ,i would say it was a secret he would have liked to have kept (on these forums anyway).
