question about daganham tonight

ken

Recommended Posts

Hi, can anyone tell me where away fans usually congregate? I'm going as a neutral tonight but like to be amongst the away support as there is usually more of an atmosphere.

Thanks in advance!

The game is segregated so the away support is in the Pondfield end, open terrace. If it looks like rain we may open up the extreme end of the sieve (covered terrace to the away fans (as we did on Saturday for the Fleet).

The best atmosphere is around the middle of the covered terrace, especially at night games. Park Lane was a morgue even when the home team were 3-0 up at New Year so unless Canvey make a lot more noise on the road, I'd come in with the Daggers.

there were a few reasons why you thought it was a morgue,

a. the wind carried most noise (I admit there wasn't much) away from the away end,

b. it was new years day for Christ sake, if you are in a fit state to shout and sing at 1pm on new years day, you didn't have a good new years night.

Another was of course the smell. God your ground is depressing even when your team aren't being stuffed.

Broadfield and now our place. It must be nice to see a couple of decent grounds.

oh the ground again, how original, jesus we havent hurd that one before, and yet you couldnt fill the away end, we certainly dont fill the home end so why do we need more again? plus

your ground is a cr*p hole, it is bigger but god it is run down.

at least we are getting a new one.

I think not my old son. Run down?? Perhaps you are thinking of Gravesend.

Decent segregation, a proper stand, the ability to buy a cup of tea during the game without a 30 minute wait and no smell. Add to that you can actually see what is happening on the pitch from the away end and I think we have you there.

Nice result tonight I thought. Smith should be taken out to sea and dumped. Who's a [****!!****] sucker after the second goal Smithy you [****!!****]

Very original from the Daggers as usual. I would just ignore them.

[****!!****] sucker?? You'll have missed Smith giving it large with the hand signals to the home crowd having trampled all over Ashley Vickers then?

Oh sweet justice when he screwed up on the second goal. What was he thinking of?

As for segregation, maybe we should get ourselves some lovely second hand scaffolding and shove it in the way.

Seven straight defeats away from home, oh my! What's up, can't play on grass pitches?
