Isn't that some Yankee sport that nobody else in the world plays? Rugby for wimps?

I'd better shut up now, seeing as Dave is a fan of the sport too.

You gotta love the yanks - inventing a game and hardly anybody else in the world plays it.

That's where we went wrong with football - if we'd kept it to ourselves then we'd be world champions.

I did say the word 'hardly' rather than 'nobody'.

Still a minority sport outside of the US.

It's difficult to think of a stadium in London they didn't play at. But it all went wrong after they left Wembley.

I'll be watching tonight, even though the Pack are at home <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bawling.gif" alt="" />

Everybody I know at work with a slight interest seems to support New England!

Go Dolphins, go Dolphins.....

.....even now you are 'not very good' and rarely make the play-offs, let alone the Superbowl.

I have to disagree with you F.F.
Firstly you don't gotta love the yanks they are the Manyoo of world politics.
Secondly even if we had kept footie to ourselves we would have found someway to screw up when it came to competition time.

I'm confused. Were the adverts the sport? Or were those big men on that big green pitch the adverts? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I was never confused!*

The game stops every 5-10 seconds for adverts. I don't see how you can get into it.

*I hope someone else likes Al Murray...

All I can say here is: a stupid game for stupid men, wearing stupid costumes, running around on a stupidly colourful pitch...

Rant over...
