Chelmsford City supporters

Mark Flag was curious on the Windsor forum about thier groundsharing with Slough. A Slough supporter said: "the Slough supporters will often help out around the ground with odd jobs such as helping repair damaged fencing etc. Everyone has to muck in at this level."

That got me thinking, what the feck have Chelmsford supporters ever contributed to New Lodge? After 7 (seven) years of squatting, in terms of manual labour, they've done diddly-squit for the up-keep of our ground. Lazy and ungrateful feckers. On the 22nd of february turn up with a paint brush and tell them to paint something.

There's an element that Chelmsford aren't obliged to help out - they pay their rent and they're entitled to use the ground without helping out. Got a bit annoyed a couple of summers ago, when a load of postings on their forum were moaning about things not being painted etc... they'll learn if they ever get their own ground that these things take one hell of a lot of work.

You're quite right, Ryan. Chelmsford City have probably done little for Billericay Town over the last seven years.....except pay you around £100,000 in rent....

Taking into consideration that it was fully inclusive, and additional rates we had to pay as imposed by the council for letting you use our facilities, it is Fkng cheap.

And. what about the Rpi rent increase that we have never had! Inc interest that should amount to a tidy sum. We could insist on payment upon demand, locking the gates if it's not forthcoming.

Remind me, why did you leave Maldon?

Chelmsford was glad to come here when they had no ground, and Billericay have been very supportive during the past seven years.

Don't come on here with your attitude;
Now fck off and stop bothering us! (Peter)

What "attitude" might that be, Town Cryer. I merely posted a fact - that Chelmsford City have paid Billericay Town around £100,000 in rent over the years in response to a posting from Ryan c that seemed to be suggestion that CCFC haven't done anything for Billericay.

If you feel that the £100,000 has been too little perhaps you should address your concerns to the Billericay Town management who negotiated the deals....

I apologise, though, for "bothering you", Town Cryer....
