Yep, I am. Been supporting the club of various degrees...note the word degrees... since 1974. I slacked a bit when I was living in Braintree with a young lady who thought her life was more improtant than BTFC...Suffice to say, the greater good won through!!!

I now live in Billericay and spend my whole life there....Well most of it, it seems....

Kevin:

Not bitter at all. Nor concerned, nor do I think the rent is too little. As peter might say, just stating facts.

Ryan's post was clear in its question.

Peter made a post, although he may think it was subtle, it wasn't, and it was very transparent.

It had nothing to do with Ryan's post, as he claimed, which went to further show his post as a poor attempt a snide remark.

No one has denied that we make money from the Bar, why make that comment?

You pay a rent for the service and facilities we provide, including a bar. It would be a sorry state of affairs if we didn't open it on Chelmsford match days.

You will have your own ground soon, and I wish you well with that, but in the meen time you are our tennants. Get over it!

"That got me thinking, what the feck have Chelmsford supporters ever contributed to New Lodge? After 7 (seven) years of squatting, in terms of manual labour, they've done diddly-squit for the up-keep of our ground. Lazy and ungrateful feckers. On the 22nd of february turn up with a paint brush and tell them to paint something"

And that's supposedly a sensible question from

Ryan is it, TC? More like an slightly abusive statement wouldn't you agree? He's had my answer

on those 'point's.

Oh, and still you end with a little dig at us...

Hmm, not bad. Tho' always a CCFC supporter, first saw your lot early on in the ESL before the then meteoric rise thru Athenian and Isthmian leagues plus Vase successes. Use to sit on the old (Essex CC) benches opposite the clubhouse.

One has to know Ryan to appreciate him I suppose...

I would like to point out that I would prefer one of Ryan's "colourful" posts to the "I shall try not to take offence but point out a few things whilst trying not to appear superiour than the person who has offended me and failing and coming across a total "stuffed shirt" (being polite here) with a serious lack of humour" type of post....

Jeez, did I start something? Message Boards should never be taken seriously, most of it is a wind-up! As for the paint Kevin, I'd much prefer Royal Blue. Not sure where EB should have put his comma, I'm thinking between look and Kevin, but I don't think that it necessitates one!
