Folks

Can you help settle an argument

The fantastic cartoon "The Flintstones" I think is 70's and someone else says 60's It is officially listed as Hanna Barbera cartoon aired between 1960 - 1965 and later 1967 - 1970

I am sure though this was aired in the seventies in the UK as I watched this as a kid (born 1969)

Can anyone confirm that it was shown on UK tv in the seventies.

Not importnat in the scheme of things but if anyones knows for certain would appreciate it.

Cheers <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/top.gif" alt="" />

Many thanks JR

Maladroit, Flintstones pants? Why ?
Its right up there with early Scooby doo and Mary mungo and midge!

I used to also enjoy Mr Benn which I was amazed to see on one the the numerous digital channels the other week.

Anyone else think they could make a good movie out of Mr Benn ? which real actors kind of a time-travelling hero who's only porthole to timetravel is the costume's he puts on in the fancy dress shop changing room.
He would not know when he would return to his own time until the shop keeper turns up.
Suppose it would be a bit like Quantum Leap with fancy dress!!

Sorry went off on one there, work is boring and I have way too many coffees !!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/yay.gif" alt="" />

Cheers

The Flinstones was rubbish.

"A gay old time" sums it up imo

Give me Thunderbirds, Poddington Peas, SuperTed or Thundercats over that rubbish

Superted aka Supergay. That was the gayest cartoon ever. And then there was Jamie and the Magic Torch...
