Must congratulate you on your excellent wit and, ahem, spelling.
Respect to you for sticking with Enfield FC but I've got to ask you how you feel watching your team play miles outside of the borough in front of miniscule crowds, knowing all the time the money that yourself and others who remain loyal to EFC are giving is going towards a man who ruined and betrayed the shell of a club that still - barely - exists. Still no sign of a new stadium either, or Mr Chairman since the game at Preston North End some years back.
As for Town not winning many matches, have you seen the league table for the ESL this season? With Jim Chandler as manager and Martin St Hilaire, John Ridout and Danny Clarke playing their football at Goldsdown Road, there are plenty of reasons to be cheerful. Who knows, it may not be so long before our clubs meet in the league but here's to an all-Enfield tie in the Middlesex Senior Cup.

Why are the reserves getting out of their pram again.
crowds, chairman, new ground old story and its still boring
just out of interest when did david bryant star watching enfield as some dont quite remember.

Dave started watching Enfield years ago. I don't quite remember exactly when either but you could ask him. He was always one of that group with Glyn, Ciaran, Bug, Paul, etc.
BTW Rob, we aren't reserves. Never have been, never will be. We just happen to have made our collective decision not to be put upon by Tony Lazarou any more. And if people are going to make snide comments either here or on the ETFC forum they are going to get the same sort of thing back, whether you, they, I or whoever likes it or not. That's life.
We are also in the semi-final of the Middlesex Senior Cup have beaten Wealdstone 3-1 tonight so there is still the chance that there will be an Enfield Town v Enfield final (supposing Uxbridge don't turn out to be another Histon, of course).

Apparently it was 1968 (which easily predates my 1975). He even pointed out at the game against Woodford Town today that he had seen Enfield play Clapton there, at the Spotted Dog, in 1974 (in the bad season before Tommy Unwin took over).
Happy now?
