i cant believe mario was the bench again. we were shocking against BS so you think he would learn from his mistakes. what a joke. mario can run that midfield with his eyes closed. aint his thought that he is playing with poo

Well along with a few others he didn`t play too well in the home game against Bishops Stortford so maybe thats the reason. No doubt he`ll get to play against Crawley then it`s up to him to force himself back into the team.

Agree, if he didn't play to well against Bishops Jeffs track record with players such as Keeling is that they won't get picked just because the fans think he can turn the teams fortunes around.

Mapes arrival probably meant that he was going to have another change around but if he's that good and that competitive then it won't be long before he is given another chance which I'm sure he will grab.

I listened to Jeffs comments about the Burton game and he seemed in quite good spirits after a poor game. His main aim seems to be staying in the Conference - He may be buggering about with the players and formations because we ain't going to make the playoffs and we probably won't go down, so experiment. Its just bloody confusing for the fans <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Would like to see Mario play against the Shots. Really think he'll cause them problems and has that touch of flair that could open up a tight game.

Absolutely spot on. What a difference he made once he came on - same thing for Keelo. Begs the question, why did Jeff wait so long? He knows more about picking a winning team that I do, but everyone around me was wondering the same last night.

Another one that puzzles me. Ollie for Man of the Match??? I like Ollie, but who saw him as MOM? David Blunkett?

Duffers for me was MOTM. Absolutely superb in the second half and caused the Shots defence all sorts of problems.

I'd have to go alone with that. I thought Duffers was on fire during the second half. With him on one flank and JK on the other we seemed to really stretch Shots across the width of the pitch. Wonder why we didn't start with that formation?

i think jeff started midgely just to keep things a little tighter to start with.like what happend when the game was getting strecthed keeling is then great at beating people with his pace and delivering good balls in

I think Keeling should have got it just for the shear amusement factor of how many times he nutmeged their left back, especially when a few of their fans ended up shouting, will somebody break his legs.

but everybody had a good game, with sedgemore, duffy and ollie really shining

I'm with Rich on that. Wanted to keep things a bit tight, when they went down to ten men, however, bringing on keeling and Mario really stretched them, and we were very unlucky not to have won it. If we had i'm sure there would've been nothing other than plaudits for the selections made. Unlucky boys, but keep that form up and i'm sure we'll climb a couple of places, rather than just settling for not going down!!

P.S. Not suggesting that the players and management are, of course!!
