Oh Dear, Oh Dear, Oh Dear

Well Mr King, What do you have to say about that then.

I hope you have a very big drawing board as on that performance you will be going back to it many, many times.

Well done to those who actually tried, Parms, JK, Boylan, Knight and to those who are only there for the money, well best you rethink. Greggors would have done better if he had a bit of ball service, but every ball seemed to go far right and 9 times out of 10 went out of play.

Will we be the only club to have a different keeper - every game ??? Mind you, the defence did'nt help much, in his debut down fall..

At the end of the day - They wanted it more than we did ! So come on boys, lets get back to the levels and standards of the last couple of seasons, you know and so do we that you are MUCH MUCH BETTER than that.

Heres hoping for a result on saturday!

All I can say is I rushed home from work and missed the first 10 mins - made it just in time for Stortford's first goal - wasn't i Lucky!! What a load of crap.

Has our bubble burst? Seems to be that way so far. What a bloody disappointment.

Greggor's needs to get his act together. Parms has played well and now has a fractured ankle and Millsy is out for 3 games for being mouthy - wot is this world coming to!!! Bring back Wardy, Duffers and Ash please!!

Played for a few different managers in my over long past but but never one that tolerated non-tryers

for it to be suggested that 6/7 players never made the effort this early in the season is a mouthful

I could not get to the game but please "swindle" do you really mean they did not try

Well, to be blatantly honest, I don't think they did. Knowing Canvey as I do, we are probably by far one of the most creative teams in the Ryman Premier League, a credit to the game of Football and I will be the first one to give credit when it is due.

However, on Saturdays performance - kick it upfield and hope and in a lot of cases - it did'nt even get that far............ it makes you wonder !!

Yes it is early in the season and we can and will improve - BUT - you dont win titles if you are out for a stroll in the Park, which is the impression most fans around me had on saturday.

dunno much about minton but miller hasn't recaptured the form of the first half of last season and the last half of the one before that .. still he was always good for a red card or two , i am surprised he wanted to leave tho.. still as i said earlier i still think spencer is better and should be moved into a more central role

I also thought Jeff Minton looked good. In fact the whole midfield looked good today! JK, Protheroe, D. Gregory, Minton & Forbes all played out of their skins. Good to see both Gregorys get on the score sheet. I thought Danny Potter and Ollie Adedeji saved us on more than one occasion too... Heres to more of the same Monday afternoon!

thanks Andy, true wit always shines through....;-)

minton is good , ollie has that wardy style about him but his hair isnt such a silly colour.. all we need to do is be within 6 to 9 points after the xmas games and we are in the frame, looked a lot better today, sure the boys made a few last ditch tackles but they made em..

to go a goal down while i was still digesting my 1664 then play so well to pull it back shows the boys may have turned the early season doldrum corner even earlier than usual (its normally 5/6 games) well played lads

Agree on that one - We looked a lot more solid, our shape was much better, still a bit tacky in defence but with the pace of Ollie and that of Wardy we should be able to tighten up, Lee P looks better in mid pushing fwd too. Although we had a bit of a blip in the closing stages I thought 'overall' we are getting there.
