what are you lot doing in the summer

Recommended Posts

I have my Kent Cricket season ticket so I will be down there. First game starts on 20 April (4 day) against Warwickshire. Followed by a Tote Sport game on 24th against Leicester.

When not at the cricket out in the garden, soaking up the sun with a cold beer in hand. (Hopefully).

My calender does not say! however:

Australia v Bangladesh ODI 30th June
Kent v Bangladesh 'A' 3 day game 16th August.

Both games are at Canterbury.

I'll check on Aussies game (if there is one!)

I would hope so, Harry. I, as an A-level man, will have a very long summer holiday indeed (late June to late September) spent watching Test Match cricket, both on telly and live (hopefully). My Summer will also include the massive highlight of the Reading Festival! It'll be awesome - although I will miss two Fleet games because of it:(

Going to watch Star Wars.

Going to Istanbal should Chelsea get there.

Ringing the club to see if they want any help with stuff.

Spending Saturday afternoons wishing I was at Football.

Playing FM 2005.

Playing Pro Evo.

It goes without saying that your single?

I'll be watching approx. no seconds of cricket hopefully. Bloody boring game.

I imagine I'll be spending my summer as I spend the rest of the year. Working and drinking (unfortunately not at the same time). Although hopefully there will be a bit of sun and I should get away on holiday at the end of the summer.

As for my Saturdays, maybe some day trips, maybe somelong days in the pub, definately some days in bed all day watching tv and movies.

On the Saturday evening after the Burton game I'm going to lock myself in a darkened room until the new season starts.

I thought that's what everyone did?

No, we just mourn the loss of the football season and try to get over it by watching some obscure teams on Eurosport or the foreign leagues that are shown late on Channel 4 and 5 which you would rarely consider watching during the regular season.
