OK, completely off topic I admit, but I know at least a few of you are into Star Wars.

Anyway, If you fancy seeing all 6 star wars movies, in order of release, at the Empire Leicester Square, 3 days before the rest of the world, you can. But it'll cost you £50

here's the link to the info

A spelling mistake surely? I could have sworn the title was Star Bores.

Its a con.

They know full well that nobody could possibly sit through the first five Star Wars films without falling asleep, I reckon they will show two or three films until the entire audience has dozed off leave them to kip for a while and then wake them all up and tell them they missed it. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I don't think it would be all that hard to sit through them (maybe the Phantom Menace), I watched all 3 extended editions of the Lord of the Rings movies in one go.

At least most of them are good movies, it's not like you're being asked to sit through all the police academy movies (I think I could do that too)

There are also people who think that the idea of paying £10 (soon £12) to stand up for 2 hours to watch the Fleet play is barmy. But I choose to do that too.

What do you care anyway? You don't have to do it. I doubt I even will, but I can see that some people would want to and good for them.

There are a load of people to whom this film means an awful lot to, and the chance to see all 6 of the movies in the cinema again with the Director there as well would be a great day out to them.

yeah they are good to watch on bank holidays in the rain etc.

but it doesn't actually mean anything to anyone does it? not really?
people like them ,but don't mess themselves over them anymore do they? that is a bit of a geeky scifi stereotype i thought.
