Enfield ran out comfortable winners today defeating chertsey town 3-0, second half strikes from Ronnie Watson 48mins and a brace from mike dean 52 & 84 mins were enough to see off a stubborn chertsey. Brook House's suprise 1-0 defeat at Edgware saw E's snatch second place. Ilford won today and finish as deserved champions ,And on behalf of Enfield F C well done to them.

Well done from everyone at ETFC.Presuming that play-off's will be unnecessary, will you be going into the Southern league with us,or the Ryman 1

Yes, should have said ,thats where ETFC HOPE to be.
As the FA are trying to restructure and put teams north of the Thames in the Southern league, with teams south of the thames in the Ryman. there's is a good chance both of us will get out wish IF we get promoted.

A great result boys , Nick Turner looks a good aquisition and the defence has stopped leaking goals since his arrival, Hope this play off business is kind to both enfield clubs.

What's your problem Shadarse? I take it you're referring to my post on the ESL forum about the promition play-off debacle.

Nothing two faced or hypocritical in that as far as I can see. I wish to offer my congratulations to EFC on coming second in their league, as I used to follow that club in their Southbury Road days.

I have said elsewhere that it strikes me as unjust that not only do the runners-up from one Step 5 league get a place in the play off draw but could, in that draw, get a bye, in which case 2 champions of other leagues will be denied promotion through losing a play-off while a runner -up is promoted. Nothing personal against EFC, it just happened to be them. It's the farcical system that I am ranting about.

Ah trying to backtrack on your previous statement are we.. you know I might have been wrong about you being two faced...coz I reckon you have more faces than the tower big ben ... And keep your backstabbing comments off the coca cola page..coz we dont want to see the likes of you on there.

Does anyone know about the inspection problems. I understand from other posts elsewhere that the ground failed.
