Canvey's first season in the Conference

All this talk about management - successful or otherwise - what people need to appreciate is that these two guys have put us in the "TOP" 6 non league part time clubs in the country. There aren't that many managers around that have that experience - even managers like Terry Brown at Aldershot have gone full time - there just aren't that many managers around with "part time" non league management experience - those that have are the ones whose clubs have dropped back down from the Conf. Nat.

tell jeff to put the advert up and you will have a long queue of people up for the job.the canvey "so called part-timers" most of them are professional players that have dropped out of the league on good wages for this division and many don't even have a job.i would like to see how much these guys earn don't get yourself down!get someone in that makes them play and you will see the numbers of supporters doubling and your little CANVEY going places again

i haven't got a clue who could be.the only thing i know jeff and glen don't have to see this coach as a threat but like someone that will be there to

help them.they used this newzealander as a sort of physio or fitness adviser.looking at the number of injuries it doesn't seems that has worked out plus many times they have been having this dilemma 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 or even 4-4-1-1 showing that they didn't have clear ideas about how to employ the personnel.they do need a proper coach and train 3 times a week when they haven't got a midweek game and twice with the tuesday game(sort of monday-wednesday-thursday or wednesday-thursday with mid-week game on tuesday, something like that)you don't need need to go full-time.

some how i cant see jeff king feeling threatened in his football career by an employee..

all his talk of a new coach to help yet still no suggestions as to who? come on on.. surely there must be loads better than glenn out there..??

and even the best fitness/ physio cant help when some stevenage thug jumps on a players ankle ..

im all for discussions about improving things but i dont see any need to change the the coach.. if you do fine but at least back it up with some suggestions..

tactics and formations and players can be debated forever but rarely do we have all the facts behind why decisons are made

I think we have a top team in place, I know I keep saying it but, they have not got one thing wrong so far.

Everything the said would happen has happened, it has been hard, we have had to learn as we go along, we have had a good first season.

Watch the party at Norwich if they stay up, our achievement is greater than that, I bet you will not hear their fans asking for changes.
