So what do we do about Britains hate culture?

Recommended Posts

First off let me start by telling you all that hate is not a new thing thats been around for the last couple of years since the Chavs started emurging. It has been around since time began, since man learned to love man also learned to hate.

So you can get the idea out of your head that it's to do with the latest video game or TV programme, hate is as old as time itself. The reasons why we hate are endless. We hate life because it can be hard, we hate each other because we can be annoying, we hate ourselves because of our mere existance and we hate stuff because of things we've heard.

We all hate, its a fact of life. However it is how we deal with that hate that's important. Personally I like to write things down so I spend a lot of time in here and in other forums talking to people. Many of you think this is sad, tough if it was your life you'd be able to do something about it and if thats the way I like to deal with my hate then so be it. Just be thankful I'm not taking my hate out on a member of your family.

So to discover how we hate lets take the typical hate filled man <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/affig.gif" alt="" /> lets call him Dave.

Say hi to Dave everyone. Dave was born in 1958 into the Nickelson family. He has an elder sister called Lucy and a younger brother called Gary. His mother worked part time in a bakers in order to pay off the bills while his father worked for London Underground. They were a reletively happy family with little to complain about except the usual moans and groans at life.

Now I must stress that this is not based on anyone perticular, just your average Joe or Dave if you like. Dave's parents were extremely religious and would attend Church every sunday, as you do, in order to say thanks to blah blah blah (thats my hate coming out towards christ). Daves parents were also very strict, if Dave, or any of the other children ever put a foot out of place his father would come down on them like a ton of bricks.

As Dave was the eldest boy he would receive the worst of the punishment. His father was in a Japanese POW camp while in WW2 so knew all about punishment. Daves grandfather was also in the trenches in WW1 so had seen many things the rest of us haven't even dreamt about. Daves grandfather was also harsh to Dave as he was to his own son.

As Dave was treated worse then his brother and sister he obviously took to it very badly. Not only did he not like the punishment but he also thought it was very unfair. Why should he be punished just because he was the eldest boy, it's just a matter of luck? This meant Dave grew to resent his brother or sister who in comparison got off very lightly.

As the years grew on Dave grew immune to the beatings, sure they still took their toll but he evenetually learned to live with them until he got to the grand old age of 14 when his father was killed in a traffic accident. A bus hit him and he was killed instantly.

Dave was heartbroken. The man he had looked up to was no longer there. The one guy that would play football with him, would teach him stuff about new things had suddenly gone. Daves brother was not interested in the same things as Dave and so offered very little in the way of recompensense.

This also made Dave angry at God, years of loyal service how could the bible abandon him like this? It was very unfair, he had always said his prayers attended church this made Dave angry and lose faith in what he believed in.

One good thing to come out of it though was that Dave was now free. No more beatings, his mother couldn't carry them out, the years of beatings he suffered would result in Dave becoming ever stronger and his mother could no longer control him. He was free to do what he liked when he liked without any descipline.

Dave was also a vherment Chelsea supporter. He used to stand in the Shed (famous south stand at the Birdge) on saturday afternoons to hear old people moan about years of loyal service to this country without getting anything in return. He also get continuingly frustrated with his teams lack of success on the pitch. Year after year Chelsea would come so close only to fall at the final hurdle.

As time grew Dave become to overstep the mark more and more. He would often step outside the laws in this country just to get what he wanted, he didn't care why should he? God had already given up on him, the country were never going thank for any sort of loyal service what hope has he now?

He would steal, fight in the street, swear at people randomly and even try to start fights with rival football supporters when turning up a the Bridge. This all continued until Dave reached 22. He was young, free and single and there wasn't a thing anyone could do about it. Meanwhile Chelsea were becomming even more successful on the pitch. Being the FA Cup holders meant Chelsea were in europe, and with Dave being old enough to travel alone who knows what exciting adventures he would encounter.

It was now that Dave met Bill, another Chelsea supporter. Bill was five years older then Dave and had been to see Chelsea in europe the previous time so knew what to expect. He had traveled to Barcelona, Milan and Stuttgart all to see his glorious Blues play taking his fist's with him.

This time though was to be different, he now had a companion to take with him, someone he could use as his back up should things go wrong. To Dave Bill was a big brother. Since his father died Dave had no one he could look up to, Bill was now that man. However at one match in 1974 (never happened wenever played them that year but lets pretend) Chelsea traveled to Millwall, this was considered one of the biggies of the season, a chance to rekindle old rivalries which Bill and Dave made sure happened.

Things went wrong. Dave was arrested and sentenced to three months hard labour at her majestys descretion. It was only twelve years ago that one of her majestys buses knocked down and killed his father and now they wanted him to be punished for this. Who was punished for his fathers death? No one, the driver got off scott free. What made Dave even more angry was the fact that had Bill turned up and said that they weren't doing anything, then Dave would have been off the hook. Bill didn't, he said he didn't want to have a similar punishment handed to himself so Dave was once again desserted by someone he trusted and looked up to.

Dave and Bill kept in contact but only really ever saw each other at the Bridge when Chelsea were playing. When they got into scraps with opposing fans they themeselves ended up fighting each other.

Time wore on and so did the years eventually Dave got married and settled down into a quiet family life, however it was not to last. He didn't take well to having to do chores around the house, his mother had always done the house work why was he suddenly being nagged to help out?

1988 came and Daves wife Sandra gave birth to a baby boy, Lee. He grew to be the spitting image of his father, short black cropped her, short round face, chubbey fingers and a very mean temper. Lees up bringing was much like his fathers, Dave would take the harshness of life out on Lee just because he could.

As another three children followed Lee the punishment always seemed to be passed down to the eldest boy, why? Just because he was the eldest? Didn't seem fair. Lees life suffered. He would attend school taking his punishment out on others in a mokey see monkey do attitude, Lee was following inthe footsteps of his father.

When Lee was thirteen his father got him a PS2 for his birthday. Lee was over the moon, the machine had only just came out and he was the only boy he knew that had one. He would entertain his friends letting them round his house to play with his new toy. Lees favorite games were fighting games. He used to spend hours playing the latest one that his parents had bought him. There excuse for letting him play these games was "Ah it keeps him quiet."

Seeing the games in action meant Lee wanted to reinct the moments for real for himself. His father joined him to a local gym where he would learn to practise karate or kick boxing moves. Lee was quite the little fighter and stuck to it with a very harsh discipline.

One night while out with friends Lee was bored and had seen someone he didn't like the look of. He went up to the person a middle aged man in a suit and asked him "what are you looking at"?

The man replied "nothing"!

"Yes you were" replied Lee you were looking at me.

Lees friends could see the man was affraid and were egging Lee on to hit the man. Lee did so, he got a thrill out of it so did it again. His friends were cheering him on to do it more. The man fell to the ground but still Lee would not give up, blood was now spilling out of him but still Lee kept on going. It was like Lee was a video game character and someone was pushing the buttons making him do it more and more.

A fimilar story I know. So who was to blame for the attack? Well Lee was primarilly obviously, but Lee wasn't born with hate it grew on him. So what about the video games? Nope, no chance. I grew up on them and I have never treated another human being with such disrespect as Lee treated the guy in the story. Video games are an easy way out. Who shall we blame for Hitlers hate, Video games?

What about his parents? Should they have not disciplined Lee better? Surely they noticed he had a mean temper, shouldn't they have clamped down on it earlier? Yes? But Lees father was the one beating him so what message what that have gave Lee? Do as I say, not as I do? Anyway Dave was only taking his own anger out on Lee, as I have said we all have anger and hate, its how we deal with it thats the trouble.

So what of Daves anger? His father dying? The bus driver was found not guilty, if a court room of people say he wasn't to blame who can be blamed? What about Daves loss of faith? When society first started out we needed religion to keep people in line. If you do not keep within these rules you will be punished. Religion is meant to teach us to embrace and love each other, not hurt each other? What about Daves harsh up bringing?

But then Daves father (Mick) was only taking his anger out on Dave. Who do we have to blame for that? Part of Micks anger stems from his time he spent in the war, who do we blame for that, Hitler? What do we blame Hitlers hate on?

Hitler led a very similar childhood to Dave, his father also died when Hitler was only fourteen. Before he died his farther treated him badly. Hitler wanted to be an artist but his father sent him to a technical college when he was eleven. This meant City life for young country boy Adolf.

City boys in Lodz, Austria (near to where Hitler grew up), did not treat country boys very well. Hiter was also in the trenches like Daves grandfather, but as we know was on the losing side. Hitler felt betrayed by those that made descisions above his head this is where he got the idea of a dictator for Germany.

So it all stems from other things, but how do we control it? Lock them all up? Design Nazi style ghettos and anyone acting in a slap happy manner will be thrown in and not let out until they can prove they are valued members of our society? May seem like a pipe dream now but believe me people this is the way we are going.

Then who wins? Hitler. Thats what he wanted. People looked up in cages and not let out unless the ruling party said so. How can the human race ever prosper when all we do is try to lock one and other up? You may say locking people like Lee up, in a ghetto, for doing something wrong is the way to go but as far as I can see it will only make things worse.

It starts with a few simple pieces of clothing banned from a shopping centre, where will it end? What next? Where next? Will people be banned from walking out of their own front doors just becasue they wear a baseball cap? At the moment we have people affraid of going out of their own front door because of the so called "Chavs".

I don't have any of the answers people only a whole load of questions, the answers are up to you to decide.

but let me leave you with this little something to think about. You might think that banning a perticular brand or make of clothing will stop the trouble makers but it wont. So what they just won't wear hoodies, baseball caps or burberry ect ect ect. What if they suddenly decide to style themselves on the Kray twins, suits and all. What then, do we add suits to the banned list?

Banning clothing is only a short term solution to a long term problem. If this is how it starts, then where will it end?

So hang on a minute, I didn't get this at first. Are you accusing me of copying someone else's work? Is there anyway that I can prove that I didn't then I would do it.

How can you accuse me of copying and psting without any proof? Who do you think I am, Mikefleet?

If I were you I wouldn't bother proving you'd stayed up to construct that lengthy missive. I'd rather deny it than have people realise what a saddo I was.

No I typed it all up myself.

I'm sure you could have made a valid point without resorting to posting soppy stories.

Not being funny fella, but you were offered a lifeline by being accused of copying and pasting the story. Why the [****!!****] anyone would waste time writing that nonsense is beyond me. I take it your still single Harry?

Why would I deny it? If I was going to stoop to that level then I wouldn't have written the thing in the first place.

Oh and what has having a girlfriend got to do with it? I'm fed up with being told I have to go out and get pissed in order to make people believe I have a life. If I wanted to "get out more", I would. I don't need you or anybody else to tell me to do so.

Whats far more sad is people that come in here unregistered and anonymous, slag someone off only to not revel their identity when challenged.

Or how about that weirdo me, Jimmy and FF met at the Morecambe game. He made a reference to the forum, said "the trouble with that place is it's like an evening with Harry J Allstars", then when we asked who he was he seemed reluctent to tell us. Why did you do that mate, something to hide?

Quite right, Harry - pressure to conform is one of society's biggest evils.

So what do you deny to stop people realising what a saddo you are then??

What an unpleasant idiot you are.
