Got to admire 'The penguin'. Been to thousands of matches without once paying through the turnstile.

my favorite was at Grays where he asked glyn smith and i not only the goalscorers but also the score - having been there. I remember we credited Kipper Kane with a hat trick.

Glynn has been an outstanding servant to Enfield F C down the years. Its a pity that you townies didn't follow his example instead of jumping ship like the bilge rats that some of you are..

Indeed he has been a great servant. But just think, if he along with others hadn't blindly followed Lazarou, you might not be Ware you are now.

There's nothing wrong with Ware we are now. It's a hellova lot better than being at Boreham Wood or Hendon.

....... instead of jumping ship like ...

I thought the good ship Enfield set sail .................
and has not been seen in these parts since; apart from one frosty night when, me hearties, some young scally wags, maybe reservists appeared on the shore......

(rats! HA ! as a certain England manager would say... "my ar$e" )
