Them odds are weird!! Grays 10-1 to win the league is a bit stupid.

How comes Tamworth who had a fairly decent season last season are below the likes of Altrincham, Southport and ourselves?

Woking at 25-1 could be a good each way bet. They were close to the play offs last season. I think next season Hereford will win the League. The two teams coming down from the League will not be a threat and maybe only Exeter can live with them. grays at 10-1 is a big a joke as our odds last season. They will find it hard in the conference just like we did

Phil Old Boy posting.

If things don’t change much their end, I think Grays will do well next season.

Reasons being:

1)Although they have beaten conference teams as we did in previous years, Grays have beaten them convincingly.

2)Their form carried on right to the end of the season while we switched off as soon as we won the league at Thurrock. We too found ourselves in the Trophy final but our performances after winning the title were not good and perhaps this attitude may have been the route to us losing the final.

3)If keeping the same team, I expect Grays to steal a march on the other teams to begin with and perhaps may sustain this. Last season we performed well at the start as we had a settled team, while the other conf teams were still gelling together after recruitment. Once they had settled, injuries did not help us but they played catch up after that.
