Did you also notice the election symbols attached to the bbc coverage of the election, heavily weighted in red. some unconscious propaganda there. Gets into peoples minds when they watch blanketed coverage of the election campaign for weeks. And it was not even representatvie of the (then) make up of the mps in the commons.

labour scum.

Talking of colours - Some pr1ck said in yesterdays Daily Sexpress that you stood more chance of winning wearing a red strip rather than a blue strip !

YEAH, RIGHT !!

Is that why Chelsea won the Premiership and Man U and Arsenal [color:"red"] DIDN'T [color:"black"] ????

If you are making the red /blue argument, you should at least analyse the total record, rather than just selecting a few successful clubs, that covers 38 seasons, what about the rest?

Well, it was more a sly dig at Chelsea fans than anything else. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Still, if you insist:

Winners in red:

18 Liverpool

15 Manchester United

13 Arsenal

6 Sunderland

1 Nottingham Forest

Total: 53

Winners in blue:

9 Everton

4 The Wednesday/Sheffield Wednesday

3 Huddersfield Town, Blackburn Rovers

2 Portsmouth, Manchester City, Chelsea

1 West Bromwich Albion, Ipswich Town

Total: 27

Of course, it's all nonsense really. Reds are always more likely to win, since more teams play in red than other colours. That said, psychologists may start exploring why it is that red is a preferred colour when selecting a team's home strip - although I personally do not believe in all that stuff.

Thanks - an interesting result, although there you go making another statement that raises yet another question..... "since more teams play in red than other colours"...... OK I won't ask you to give a breakdown as far as the Conference!
